Event
Grade 11 IB student Harmony Chen presents “DECA Workshop: Introduction to Marketing” to 15 younger students. Her achievements include but are not limited to:
- 2x Regionals Champion.
- 2x Provincials Champion & Qualification for ICDC.
- 2x International Finalist (Orlando, FL and Anaheim, CA).
- 1st nationally, T10 internationally (Atlanta, GA) –> FBLA.
- Currently an executive at high school DECA –> most awarded DECA chapter in 2023.
- The club has a ~25% acceptance rate.
- It oversees and trains a group of 12 members across three events in the Entrepreneurship cluster –> its trainees achieved 1st place across all three events.
Harmony’s workshop taught all participants important information on DECA oral contests and how to prepare for them.
